I was talking to the dog (Maggie), not even my dog, because I gave her a few pieces of my roasted chicken, which was amazingly good. I was worried that dogs could not eat chicken marinated in lemon garlic sauce, so I was frantically googling whether dogs can eat chicken or not (they can). She wanted more, but I finished the rest of the chicken while leaving another piece for her. I think she behaves a lot better now, as just a few days ago, I found that one of each flip flop was missing. (My door doesn’t close properly and Maggie can just push it open). I just hope that she’s not on some special diet..she was also eyeing my roasted kale and broccoli. Indeed, I made a lot of food, but I didn’t give any of the veggies to her. Saying to Maggie, “No, you can’t have this. I need to eat my veggies. Maggie, it’s not for you. I gave you so much chicken already.”
I’ll have to ask my housemate, the actual owner of the dog, if it’s OK to give food to Maggie. I also immed a friend a short tirade about how healthy my roasted chicken is, and that it’s such a waste that I am eating this high quality protein without working out.
